To find your settings for the default e-mail program:

  1. Launch the Windows Control Panel.

  2. In Control Panel, launch Internet Options.

  3. Click the Programs tab.  The default E-mail program is listed here.

To test your default e-mail program:

  1. Click Start and then click Run.

  2. In the Open box, type

    mailto: yourname@companyname.com

  3. Click OK.  This launches a new e-mail message in your default e-mail program.
