Customizing Data Entry

Benefits of customizing GainSeeker data entry

Most organizations choose to customize GainSeeker data entry for a variety of reasons, including these:

    • Eliminate opportunities for data entry errors, by implementing:

      • electronic data acquisition from digital gauges, RFID sources (such as employee badges), or other existing systems (such as MRP or ERP databases)

      • lists of valid entries (so the user does not have to type)

      • standardized workflow, where the system guides the user through the complete and correct data entry process

    • Maximize ease of use for data entry personnel, to:

      • save time for users

      • minimize training time and resources

      • avoid user resistance to performing quality checks

    • Maximize benefits of capturing Quality data in real time, with:

      • alerts and alarms that are automatically triggered by out-of-control conditions (or other events that you specify)

      • automatic display of SPC charts, control plans, and user instructions when a triggering event occurs

Data Entry options - Inspections or Templates
