Follow this path to the OEE statistics settings on the Configurations tab of the System Administration module:
Configurations | "Configuration name" | Statistics | OEE
Before drawing OEE charts, you need to designate five new traceability fields (table columns) in which to store the raw data values used to determine OEE.
Use this setting for that purpose. The first traceability field number must be 7 or higher.
For important information about using this setting, see Requirements for collecting OEE data.
When calculating the Availability metric for OEE, the system can allow for values greater than 100%. Although a value greater than 100% should not be possible by the definition of Availability, there may rare circumstances where you want this to be an option. The default is to allow values greater than 100% for Availability.
When calculating the Performance metric for OEE, the system can allow for values greater than 100%. Although a value greater than 100% should not be possible by the definition of Performance, there may rare circumstances where you want this to be an option. The default is to not allow values greater than 100% for Performance.
When calculating the Quality metric for OEE, the system can allow for values greater than 100%. Although a value greater than 100% should not be possible by the definition of Quality, there may rare circumstances where you want this to be an option. The default is to allow values greater than 100% for Quality.
When this check box is selected (the default setting), GainSeeker can calculate the overall OEE statistic even when one or two of the three underlying statistics - OEE Availability, OEE Performance, and OEE Quality - is reported as "NA" ("Not Available" - meaning it cannot be calculated).
If you clear this check box, GainSeeker will only be able to calculate OEE when OEE Availability, OEE Performance, and OEE Quality can all be calculated.
